About Jared

Dr. Jared Silberlust

I grew up on Long Island, NY, and am an alumnus of Half Hollow Hills High School West. I attended the University of Miami to study biomedical engineering and medicine (and to golf in the winter...). Following medical school, I came back to New York City to complete my residency in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and my fellowship in Clinical Informatics (health technology) at NYU Langone Health. Throughout my training, I've focused my studies on healthy aging and evaluating products and services that promise better health.

I live and see my patients in Manhattan, but I make sure to get out to Long Island and South Florida for tennis and golf as regularly as I can (I'm trying to get my handicap down from a 14 to 9). My professional passion is learning and teaching about all the amazing (and not so amazing) products and services available to the world, and I hope my perspectives can help you feel more informed about your own health choices.
